White couple mocks Eric Garner's death on live TV
This was no harmless photo bombing. A couple found a television newscaster reporting on the protests concerning the Eric Garner case and tastelessly reenacted Eric Garner’s death behind the unwitting reporter.
The couple stepped into WPIX’s Allison Kaden’s broadcast for their theatrics. The man wrapped his forearm around the woman’s neck, and she even threw her hands up to mimic Garner’s movements before he was swarmed by cops.
As the couple walked away, giggling, Kaden continued her report, unaware of the scene that had occurred just behind her.
Kaden was reporting on the protests taking place after a grand jury failed to indict the officer involved in the chokehold death of Eric Garner.
