Police officer repeatedly punches handcuffed black kid

NYPD’s Internal Affairs is looking into an arrest captured on video that shows a plainclothes police officer repeatedly punching a handcuffed black teen.

In the video, three officers are attempting to subdue the young man when another officer dressed in street clothes runs into frame and punches the teen. One woman can be heard screaming, “He’s 12; why did you just do that?”

“I can’t believe he just did that after everything that’s happened,” a woman shouts at the cops.

Police were also in the process of arresting another young teen. They say the two young men had assaulted a person with a cane.

The video was posted to YouTube on December 17th with this description:

This happened today on my way to the post office. The kids were 12. They had supposedly pushed one of their classmates down. However when the victim was asked, he said those weren’t the guys. They were still taken away. 12. Years. Old. Sarah Doneghy

It’s not yet clear precisely when this took place.
