12-year-old CJ Pearson becomes Tea Party hit for claiming Obama 'hates' America in Youtube video

A 12-year-old in Georgia has taken Rudy Giuliani’s side since the former mayor’s claims that President Barack Obama does not love America landed him in hot water.

In a YouTube video that has already gathered over 112,000 views, CJ Pearson says the president has a “downright hate for the American values our country holds.” The video was posted Saturday on the teen’s YouTube page.

Pearson says the president needs to more clearly condemn the threat of ISIS and call it “what it really is, an assault on Christianity.” He also claims that the president is “not willing to defend our country against the evil of terrorism domestic and abroad.”

The middle school student also says that if the president loved his country, he “wouldn’t try to take away what hard working Americans have worked for their entire lives” and “wouldn’t take away the rights of the American people.”

According to Pearson’s “public figure” page, the 12-year-old “considered himself a conservative since the mere age of 8, supporting John McCain in his 2008 Presidential Campaign.”

In the meantime, Giuliani has refused to back down from his comments, though he did write in an op-ed piece by the Wall Street Journal that he “didn’t intend to question President Obama’s motives or the content of his heart.”
