Singer Angie Stone arrested on domestic assault charges

On Tuesday, Grammy-nominated singer Angie Stone was arrested in DeKalb County on a charge of domestic aggravated assault.

This isn’t Stone’s first run-in with the law.

In March 2011, she was arrested (allegedly while driving to church) because she was caught speeding and driving on a suspended license.

Stone, whose real name is Angela Brown, most recently gained attention on TV One’s popular reality show “R&B Divas: Atlanta.”

According to DeKalb police Capt. Stephen Fore, no other details are currently available about Stone’s arrest.
