On Tuesday’s broadcast of The Nightly Show, host Larry Wilmore minced no words when discussing how Fox News has covered police brutality protests in Baltimore.
During the show, Wilmore plays a clip of Fox News hosts highlighting looting, stealing, malt liquor, and thugs excessively during their reporting. Wilmore wonders aloud what’s next on the stereotype list. “Black super strength?” he asks.
The Nightly Show then airs many examples of Fox anchors using the term “Black Guerrilla” (the name of a local gang) to describe events in Baltimore, to which a frustrated Wilmore responds: “F*** you motherf***ers, man. Seriously. What kind of s*** is that? That’s rolling off your tongues a little too gleefully.”
