Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has some choice words for the  “liberal vultures” who are “fabricating a lie” about controversial GOP frontrunner Ben Carson.

In an article posted on his Facebook page, Cain maintained that the people who “fueled the media frenzy” against his 2011 presidential campaign used the same dirty tactics that Carson is now being subjected to.

“They ran reruns of the same false accusations over 700 times!” Cain wrote, referencing an article Politico published that unearthed decades-old sexual harassment accusations against him.

“The media frenzy would not stop because they’re not interested in the truth,” Cain said in an interview with Fox Business Monday. “Ben Carson is not only a conservative, he is a conservative who happens to be black.  There is only one group of people that liberals hate worse than conservatives, and that’s conservatives who happen to be black,” Cain said, adding that liberals, “resent conservatives who happen to be black for leaving the Democrat plantation.”

“If someone still wants to believe Ben Carson lied, you probably were not going to support him anyway. That’s your choice,” Cain wrote. “I just wanted to set the record straight for those interested in the truth, because the frenzied media led by Politico were not interested in the truth in 2011 when I was attacked. They are not interested in the truth in 2015 either!”
