Cipriana Quann, a model and blogger, is suing over a false arrest after she was stopped outside of a Brooklyn club.

According to the NY Daily News, Quann, editor-in-chief of the Urban Bush Babes, said that she was walking into the club, Verboten, when she apparently stumbled into the path of police officers as they were attempting to arrest a drug suspect. During that time, she was pushed by an NYPD lieutenant in a raid jacket.

“Can you please watch where you are pushing. … I am a woman,” Quann told the lieutenant, identified as Stephen Conforti.

Quann said that she was then grabbed by the police, who frisked her and snapped handcuffs on her. She then spent 24 hours in police custody before finally, reluctantly, she “agreed to accept an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal for disorderly conduct.”
