The whole thing started when Rihanna favorited (and then un-favorited) a tweet that seemed to throw shade at Beyonce’s Super Bowl 50 performance of “Formation.”
The tweet read: “The fact that ’Desperado’ is HIGHER on the Bubbling under chart than a single performed to a global audience.”
Well, the Beyhive wasn’t going to stand for anyone shading “Formation” even slightly, so they jumped right into Twitter action, shooting back at Rihanna and her fans.
Things escalated from there, and now, two passionate fanbases are at each other’s throats.
The real tragedy is that Rihanna thinks of Beyoncé as a threat and Beyoncé… Well Beyoncé doesn't think of Rihanna pic.twitter.com/cx1QmPDmEr

@rihanna Trashy hooker you will NEVER be Beyoncé. Good luck down there on your knees! Tell everyone about your cocaine addiction. Like THAT!

You will never see or hear Rihanna come directly for Beyoncé like she did with Ciara & Teyana. She's not that bold and she knows better.
