Beyoncé fans around the word have come to the singer’s defense against comments made by fellow musician Kid Rock during an interview with Rolling Stone.

During his interview, Kid Rock said he was mystified by the huge following Beyoncé has, calling it “Beyoncé worship.”

“Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a f***ing ‘Purple Rain,’ but she’s the biggest thing on Earth,” he said. “How can you be that big without at least one ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ or ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’?”

The Detroit native went on to explain the superstar isn’t his ‘type. “People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice f***ing a**.’ I’m like ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big t**s.’ Doesn’t really f***ing do much for me.”

Following the interview’s release, the Beyhive made it known they did not appreciate Rock’s comments. Fans began venting on Twitter and spamming his latest Instagram photos with emoji bees.
