Donald Trump’s campaign stops are Klan rallies sans the sheets

Donald Trump campaign rallies are a lot like Coke Zero. Die-hard supporters of Trump get a rich taste of of a good ol’ fashion white supremacist rallies, but without the guilt and public shaming. The fact that he’s the leading GOP candidate for President of the United States is great cover. Mainstream media often brushes over his flock with terms likes “working-class whites,” but the word ‘bigots’ is more befitting.

It’s time to call the bullsh*t. You can’t eat an entire sh*t sandwich and convincingly say you do it because you like lettuce. There are no redeemable policy details that Trump presents that would tempt any racially-tolerant person to sit through his hate-flaming stump speeches.

-Nearly 20% Of Trump Supporters Disagree With The Freeing Of Slaves

Trump is the face of America’s new white nationalist movement. Believe it. He provides legitimacy and cover to people who share his racist, xenophobic and Islamophobic sentiments, and need a place to congregate. Almost 20% of Donald Trump supporters admitted that they disagreed with the freeing of slaves in the South after the end of the Civil War, according to a YouGov poll.

There is a reason why the Donald has been slow to condemn the KKK and its former grand wizard David Duke, who endorsed Trump, declaring to white people that a vote against the GOP presidential candidate “is treason against your heritage.”  Trump claimed he knew nothing about Duke, who, along with other white supremacist groups are endorsing him, even sending out get-out-the-vote robocalls for election day.

And the angry white racists are heeding the call.

-Trump’s Father Was Arrested After A 1927 KKK Rally

On Monday, black students were ejected from two Trump rallies, the first at Radford University in Virginia.  The students were thrown out by security after they began chanting: “No more hate! No more hate! Let’s be equal, let’s be great!”  Moreover, a Time magazine photographer was violently thrown to the ground by one of Trump’s security, reportedly a U.S. Secret Service agent:

And later that day, at Valdosta State University in Georgia, 30 to 40 predominantly black students were kicked out of a Trump rally, apparently due to blackness.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night at a Trump event in Louisville, Kentucky, a mob of white thugs shoved and manhandled a young black woman.

And as the angry white men do their thing at his rallies, Trump is even embracing white supremacist media as well.  His campaign gave press credentials and VIP access to a white supremacist radio host named James Edwards to interview Donald Trump, Jr.  Edwards’ show, “The Political Cesspool” is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “a racist, anti-Semitic radio show” which “has featured a wide roster of white supremacists, anti-Semites and other extremists, such as the longtime Klan leader David Duke and Holocaust denier Willis Carto. Its mission statement says it ‘stands for the Dispossessed Majority’ and is ‘pro-white.’”

-5 Places Black People Can Move If Trump Wins The Presidency

Donald Trump says he wants to make America great again, and these rallies give you a glimpse of what he has in mind.  Now, a new generation of white supremacists has a demagogue who understands their frustrations, and is providing them with a venue to vent and unleash their hatred against black people–particularly those #BlackLivesMatter activists–Mexican immigrants, Muslims and others who are not the real Americans.  It does not take much of a stretch to say that someone is going to get hurt, and things will get uglier than they already have.

Hitler had his Brown Shirts, and Trump has his.  Trump needs these people, and they need him.
