Rachel Dolezal still claims she’s black in latest interview because…YOLO
On Tuesday, Rachel Dolezal announced that she would be writing a book about racial identity.
The former Spokane, Washington, NAACP president who stirred controversy when it was discovered that she had been born white despite the fact that she was living as an African-American woman was unapologetic about her decision when she made the announcement on NBC’s “Today” show.
“I don’t have any regrets about how I identify. I’m still me,” she said before stating that it had been a difficult year and that she was ready to “move on.”
Dolezal went on to say that she wanted to move on with her life by giving back as a teacher and by doing “racial and social justice work.”
