Nayla Kidd, the 19-year-old Columbia University sophomore who vanished just before finals, has been missing for a week and a half.
The young woman has apparently not only taken down her Facebook page but also changed her cell phone and bank account numbers, police said on Saturday. The moves would make it difficult for anyone to track her down.

Nayla was last seen exiting a dorm party on May 5 shortly before finals were scheduled to begin. Her family says that Nayla, a good student, would not go missing before she could finish her exams for the semester.
