Oprah on weight loss: Stedman can pick me up and carry me to the pool
There is a new way to judge whether you have lost enough weight: whether or not Stedman can carry you to the pool. That is the milestone that Oprah is now celebrating.
Speaking to People magazine on Monday, she was asked specifically what her weight loss meant for boyfriend Stedman Graham.
“I would like him to pick me up and carry me to the pool,” she answered. “I’ve lost enough weight, he can pick me up and carry me to the pool. I can straddle him without breaking his back.”
You might remember back in January when she announced she lost over 25 pounds, all while continuing her love affair with bread.

It is due to the flexibility of the Weight Watchers program that she feels she is now able to keep the weight off.
“I genuinely feel that it’s been easier this time than the other 3,000 times I’ve gone on a diet because I don’t even feel like it is a diet,” she stated in May.
Besides the Weight Watchers commercials, you can also see Oprah in her new OWN show “Greenleaf,” which she also produces.
