Police are investigating claims by a woman that she was raped by a man she mistook for a Lyft driver.

According to the 22-year-old, it was about 2 am early Wednesday morning when she ordered a ride using the Lyft app. Shortly after that, a man drove up and asked if she needed a ride, telling her that he was her driver.

The man did not have any decals on his car showing he was affiliated with Lyft, but the woman, believing him, got in his car.
