According to an attorney for Eric Garner’s one-time girlfriend Jewel Miller, whose daughter, Legacy, is Garner’s, Miller is filing a restraining order against Garner’s daughter because of threats made on Facebook.

“Who wanna slap jewel fa me?” asked Erica Garner in her post. “… So if your reading this post and standing next to her smack the s— out of her and remind her she was a side piece and nothing more.”

“Jewel Miller is an embarrassment to my dad’s legacy,” read another post. “She never in the paper for anything positive just gossip and negative petty s—.”

Lawyer for Eric Garner’s kids take DNA tests before dividing $7M settlement

Miller’s attorney wrote Staten Island Surrogate Judge Robert Gigante to issue the protective order suggesting that Legacy could be hurt because of the threats.

“While the subject of such venom is Ms. Miller, I am concerned that should anything untoward occur, Legacy could be hurt either intentionally or in the commotion of a fight,” Lawyer Lorraine Coyle wrote in a letter that also included screenshots of the comments Erica Garner made online.

This is just the latest in an ongoing battle between Miller and Garner’s family after a DNA test proved that Legacy was Eric Garner’s, entitling her to part of the $7 million settlement made over his death.
