The latest Gallup poll has President Donald Trump's approval rating at 37 percent as of Sunday, with a 58 percent disapproval rate.

The latest Gallup poll has President Donald Trump’s approval rating at 37 percent as of Sunday, with a 58 percent disapproval rate.

For comparison, former President Barack Obama generally had an approval rating in the 50s and disapproval ratings in the 40s through March 2016.

The new numbers come as the current president is facing backlash for several things, including the newly unveiled Republican health care plan, which would leave 24 million people uninsured by 2026, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Americans are also watching Trump’s revised travel ban after Hawaii Federal Judge Derrick Watson put a nationwide hold on it, and people on both sides of the aisle are upset by the president’s claims that Barack Obama wire tapped Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential election.
