Nominees list revealed for 2017 Emmy Awards

The nominations list has been announced for the 2017 Emmy Awards, and some of our favorite actors and actresses have made the cut.

What may not come as a surprise to many, Viola Davis nabbed another nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her dynamic role as Annalise Keating on How To Get Away With Murder, while Tracee Ellis Ross gets her second nominaiton for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her starring role in black-ish.

What’s more, Donald Glover and Anthony Anderson are competing against each other for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Coincidentally, both actors’ series, Atlanta and black-ish, respectively, are nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Additional nominees include Leslie Jones (Saturday Night Live) for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series; Regina King (American Crime) for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series; Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series; and former c0-stars Uzo Aduba (Orange Is The New Black) and Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale) for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
