Kenya Moore is fighting back.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed her plans to produce a domestic violence PSA on this week’s episode and TheGrio caught up with Mrs. Twirl to find out her reasons for speaking out.
While the beauty queen had no interest in discussing her ex, Matt Jordan, she did refer to the verbal and emotional abuse she suffered during their relationship. “Some women don’t realize that domestic violence isn’t just physical. You don’t have to wait for someone to hit you or kick you before you realize there’s a serious problem.”
–EXCLUSIVE: Kenya Moore goes in for ‘disgusting, vile’ Kim Zolciak Biermann–
Last season, we witnessed Kenya’s tumultuous relationship with Jordan crumble, despite her efforts to work things out. She stood her ground and had no patience for his aggressive antics that included breaking windows in her home and assaulting a driver who tried to keep him away from Kenya at her request.
She’s also fighting back against another perceived bully: Kim Zolciak Biermann. The ladies had a major confrontation on this week’s episode and Kim made several shady comments about Kenya’s marriage. The mother of six insisted Kenya’s husband was a “fan” and their marriage was a fraud and even took shots at her desire to have children.
“Hope she’s not using a 46-year-old, fu%$#ng egg,” she quipped.
Kenya opened up about why women should be proud to choose their own paths when it comes to marriage and having children.
