Chrissy Teigen offers to pay gymnast’s $100K fine for discussing sexual abuse in court
Chrissy Teigen is tired of sexual assault victims being silenced and is willing to put her money where her mouth is, in the name of justice.
This week, almost 100 alleged victims are expected to give victim impact statements against former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar, who has been accused of sexual abuse by over 140 women, including Olympians: Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles.

Unfortunately, many have speculated that former Olympian McKayla Maroney would not be in attendance due to a 2016 lawsuit she settled against USA Gymnastics. As part of the settlement, she is prohibited from publicly discussing Nassar’s action and faces a steep $100,000 penalty if she’s found in breach of that contract.
When the model heard about Maroney’s predicament she immediately took to Twitter with a proposed solution.
“The entire principle of this should be fought,” she wrote. “An NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers, but I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla.”
Maroney has yet to respond to the generous offer. But if you needed another reason to be a fan of Chrissy Teigen, this definitely qualifies.
