Eva Marcille: ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ is an ‘organic fit’
Eva Marcille is coming back to reality television and will appear in a new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Eva Marcille was last seen on Scared Famous, which had plenty of drama, but not quite as much as RHOA. In an interview with ESSENCE, she shared that she came to know many of the housewives through her friendship with NeNe Leakes.

“Coming to Atlanta Housewives and being part of that world was a pretty organic move for me because I was relocating to Atlanta as my fiancé was running for mayor,” she said. “I’m kind of new to the city and I’m not as young a whippersnapper as I used to be, I’m a mom now. One of my good friends who lives in Atlanta and has lived here forever is NeNe Leakes. I remember letting her know that I was moving to the A and that I needed a navigator to help me figure out the city.”
Marcille said that getting to know the women, especially Kandi Burruss, was exciting for her. “I’ve been in the entertainment industry for quite some time. So some of the women that are actually entertainers, I had the luxury of kind of knowing them [industry-wise],” she said. “But it was really nice to get to know Kandi beyond just industry girlfriend. And to really meet her and get to know her as a woman, and as a mom and as a wife. I think she is just absolutely everything. She’s one of my favorite of all the girls. More so, because she’s just so down-to-earth.”

The star who won cycle three of America’s Next Top Model says that the new show was an “organic fit” and says she’s had “a good time” with the women so far.
“For me, it was kind of an organic fit, which I think is kind of the best way to jump into a situation like this…I had quite a good time hanging out with the girls, for sure.”
Eva Marcille is currently engaged to Atlanta politician Michael Sterling and the happy couple is expecting their first child together.

“For me, this is my second go-round at being pregnant and when I found out I was, my fiancé was smack in the middle of his run for mayor. So making it a big announcement wasn’t a priority on our list,” she said. “However, [when] you’re pregnant, there’s nothing you can do about it. So you definitely see how I juggle pregnancy with these women on the show this season.”
