Rapper Remy Ma fires her manager Vincent Herbert
Remy isn't here for the Vince and Tamar train wreck.
Apparently, Vincent Herbert promised to be a "super manager," but he's been allegedly more focused on his impending divorce with Tamar Braxton than with coming through for his artist.

According to TMZ, Remy dropped Herbert because he wasn’t following through on his promises to her. Apparently, he had promised to be a “super manager,” but he’s been allegedly more focused on his impending divorce with Tamar Braxton than with coming through for Remy.
The gossip site reported that Herbert hasn’t been doing even the basics for Remy. In fact, he apparently hasn’t scheduled any performances or booked time for her at the studio. It doesn’t seem as if Remy is asking for the moon: she simply needs a manager who will actually do his job.

What’s more, Remy reportedly doesn’t want to get dragged into any of the marital drama going on between Herbert and Braxton.
Accusations of abuse
The ongoing divorce drama between the couple, who have been married since 2008, has been anything but pretty.
Tamar’s mother, Evelyn Braxton, has previously been very critical of Herbert, and told theGrio exclusively that he was physically and verbally abusive to her daughter.
“Everybody saw Vince as a knight and shining armor, [but] behind closed doors that’s a horse of another color,” said Braxton to theGrio. “I’m tired of [Tamar] being abused and misused.”
“If anything happens to Tamar, that’s Logan’s (Tamar and Vince’s son) loss. That’s my loss. That’s her family’s loss. I don’t want that kind of pain,” she added. “Enough is enough. I don’t care how much they smile. I don’t care how much they pretend.”

In fact, around New Year’s, she was reportedly furious when she found out that Braxton was still in contact with Herbert.
According to theJasmineBrand, Evelyn was “pissed” when she saw her son-in-law backstage at the Great Xscape Tour.
“She was blindsided when she saw him. She was heard asking people, ‘Why is HE here?’” sources told the site.
Apparently, Braxton was especially baffled by the fact that her daughter could stand to be around Herbert after he was arrested on Christmas Day for spousal assault.
Considering all of that drama, it’s no surprise that Remy Ma wants to step away.
