Oh, Fergie.

What the HELL was she thinking?

The former front woman for the Black Eyed Peas performed a disgraceful rendition of The National Anthem at the NBA All-Star game on Sunday and folks pulled no punches dragging her on social media.

The 8-time Grammy winner butchered nearly every note of the anthem in an attempt to sex it up a la Marilyn Monroe, while a star-studded crowd that included Beyonce, Jimmy Kimmel, Anthony Anderson, and Chance the Rapper.

Most of the players who stood on the court during the shockingly bad performance did their best to hold in their laughter, but a few just couldn’t hold it in. Draymond Green was caught on camera chuckling along with the rest of us who were watching in horror at home.

ICYMI, here’s the video of her horrendous performance. WARNING: Watch at your own risk—you can’t unhear it.

Twitter took no prisoners when going in on the singer after her failed attempt. here are a few of our favorite reactions:

Leslie Jones, who is reporting on the Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, also took a moment to share her thoughts on Twitter. “Meanwhile back in the states, I leave for a couple of days and y’all lose your muthaf-cking mind!! Why did this happen? Not everyone supposed to do this y’all! You might as well should have asked me to sing. WTF?!,” she posted.

Even Roseanne Barr, who holds the title of “Worst National Anthem Performance Ever” for her 1990 attempt at the anthem weighed in, saying “Who saw Fergie’s national anthem performance at the NBA All Star Game? I think mine was better lowkey.”

Ouch.

It wasn’t all laughter and shade after Fergie flubbed the National Anthem. A few famous folks jumped to her defense, while others were noticeable radio silent.

“Fergie, I love you. It was different. It was sexy. I liked it. Leave her alone,” said Shaquille O’Neal.

No words of support from her former Black Eyed Peas group mate, will.i.am or her co-stars on The Four.

Again…ouch.

We’re not sure if we feel worse for Fergie for embarrassing herself so badly or for ourselves for hearing it.
