Videos of young Beyoncé will be sold at auction

A London-based auction house reportedly has videos of a young Beyoncé Knowles to auction off to the highest bidder.

Ted Owen & Co. says that it has 19 tapes from 1992, totaling about three hours, which it is ready to auction off. The footage has been called “The Lost Beyoncé Collection” and was reportedly discovered in a storage facility along with other master tapes from a California recording studio, according to CNN.

Some of the footage has been released to YouTube as a preview and reportedly shows the young superstar shooting a music video with the group Girls Tyme. That group also included Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett.

We’re pretty sure that the auction is going to bring in some high bids.

Making money off of Beyoncé

This isn’t the only story of someone out to make some cash off of Beyoncé and her family.

Recently, the Atlanta Black Star reported on the story of a woman looking to make $10 million off of the trademark of the name Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé has been looking to trademark her daughter’s name, but Veronica Morales, the owner of Blue Ivy Events in Los Angeles, wanted Queen Bey to buy her out.

The wedding planner reportedly met with Beyoncé’s legal team and read a lengthy letter detailing why Beyoncé should buy her out and accusing the Lemonade singer of only seeking the trademark “so that nobody else could” have it.

Morales pointed to a 2013 Vanity Fair interview in which Jay-Z responded to questions about whether he would be developing a new clothing line with his wife under their daughter’s name.

“People wanted to make products based on our child’s name, and you don’t want anybody trying to benefit off your baby’s name,” he told the magazine.

But Beyoncé shut down the buyout offer, standing by her principles.
