Wakanda Bae Michael B. Jordan is hot stuff in new ‘Fahrenheit 451’ trailer

Michael B. Jordan may still be basking in the glow of Black Panther’s success, but he’s also moving on to more projects, this time with an epic new trailer for Fahrenheit 451.

The dystopian film is based on the Ray Bradbury novel about a society that fights against knowledge by banning and burning books. The story focuses on a fireman named Montag, played by Jordan, whose job is to burn books. But his own curiosity and quest for knowledge puts him in danger when he dares to break the rules.

The film, which is directed by Ramin Bahrani, will premiere later this year on HBO. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer and get hyped for more from Jordan.

Jordan’s on fire

It’s particularly ironic that Jordan would be playing a fireman given his recent admission that he’s a recovering pyromaniac.

“I was a pyromaniac growing up,” Jordan admitted during the newest episode of “First We Feast.” “I used to live next door to my grandmother. And she used to always have incense. I used to light a match and I used to just spark that on fire. Just literally light it on fire.”

“I would take the incense and poke it through the shower—the plastic shower curtains,” he added.

As you can imagine, his grandmother wasn’t too happy with her grandson’s obsession with fire.

“I had my fair share of whoopings,” Michael B. Jordan admitted.

Of course, anyone who’s been following Jordan’s career knows that his pyromaniac proclivities are ironic, since he played the character of the Human Torch in Fantastic Four.

Clearly, Jordan loves roles like this, and we’re all for giving him more so that we can see him shine doing what he loves.

Because as we all know, Michael B. Jordan is hot stuff.
