It’s almost time for A Wrinkle In Time to hit theaters and folks can’t wait to see what director, Ava DuVernay has done with the film based on the 2003 novel by Madeline L’Engle.
Celebs were out in full effect on Monday night to celebrate the world premiere of the epic film that stars Oprah Winfrey, Storm Reid, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Mindy Kaling among other amazing A-listers.
TheGrio caught up with Tessa Thompson who revealed her reasons for being so proud of friend and Creed costar, Michael B. Jordan and spilled some secrets on the projects she has lined up including the highly-anticipated sequel, Creed 2.

We also chatted with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who spoke about the incredible experience she had while shooting the film and shared her love for Ava DuVernay; the first woman ever to command a movie of this magnitude.
Chloe x Halle were also on deck to support their pal, Storm Reid, who is surely making her mark on Tinseltown with this breakout role in A Wrinkle In Time.

The 14-year-old actress has plenty of industry heavyweights singing her praises, including renowned celebrity stylist, Kim Kimble, who created the out of this world hairstyles fans will see in the movie.
“The new generation of talent on this film is incredible. Working with Storm [Reid] was a real privilege too,” says Kimble. “She’s the new kid on the block but she’s the lead of this movie. Everyone is going to freak out when they see her performance. She’s young and she’s black and she’s talented and this is just the beginning for her.”
