Report: Rick Ross released from hospital

The rap empresario returns home after being taken to the hospital under dubious circumstances

Last week, rapper Rick Ross gave everyone a scare after he was was hospitalized and reportedly placed on life support for reasons that remain unconfirmed.

But celebrity gossip site TMZ, which originally broke the story after someone at the rap mogul’s Florida home called 911 and reported him unresponsive, is now saying he had respiratory issues that turned out to be heart-related, but was released from the hospital on Monday to receive additional medical care at his home.

Ross’ family and friends have denied claims that he was put on life support, still fans and other celebrities have showered his social media feeds with prayers and well wishes all weekend.

While Ross camp has yet to make any public comments about his condition, Sunday night, his Instagram account posted a photo with the caption “#FloridaBoy.”

Ross was set to perform at the end of March in Houston and in mid-April in Biloxi, Miss., according to LiveNation. No word on how his ailment might affect his concert plans.

Meanwhile. only person who hasn’t shown much compassion is his longtime hip-hop rival 50 Cent, who posted a thinly veiled message seemingly directed at Ross, for which he’s since caught plenty of shade.
