Meghan Markle enjoys spa-themed bridal shower ahead of wedding to Prince Harry

The former 'Suits' star is gearing up for May 19 wedding to Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle is getting closer to becoming royalty every day and she’s celebrating her upcoming nuptials to Prince Harry in very special ways.

The 36-year-old actress reportedly enjoyed a spa-themed bridal shower over the weekend and we’ve got all the details about the enviable event.

According to reports by Us Weekly, the soiree went down at Soho Farmhouse in London, a spot that’s special to the couple who considers it one of their favorite date spots.

The resort that sits on the Oxfordshire countryside features a spa, sauna, indoor and outdoor pools tennis courts, a movie theater and several cabins and cottages.

The couple’s pal who was responsible for setting them up on their first date, Markus Anderson, organized the festivities that were meant to celebrate the upcoming wedding that’s set for May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The wedding, which will take place at St. George’s Chapel, will start at 12 p.m. U.K. time, or 7 a.m. EST/4 a.m. PST, with a romantic carriage ride through the streets set to take place an hour after that.

After the carriage procession, a reception will be held at St. George’s Hall, a state room in the castle. A more private evening reception will be held later by Harry’s father, Prince Charles.

Recently Mel B. revealed on the talk show The Real that the Spice Girls will be performing at the reception.

The bridal shower is just one of several big moments Markle is gearing up for, including her upcoming first public appearance with Queen Elizabeth II on Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey later this month.

The Sunday Times has reported that Meghan Markle plans to be baptized in the Church of England prior to her big day. The Protestant-raised actress is reportedly converting to the Anglican faith and will be baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Kensington Palace. Her dad, Thomas Markle, is reportedly going to be there to support his daughter and meet Prince Harry for the first time.
