Ben Carson Removes Anti-Discrimination Language from HUD’s Mission Statement
Secretary Ben Carson is changing the Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) mission and omitting words that are clearly anti-discrimination. The omitted words are “inclusive” and “free from discrimination.” Amy Thompson, the department’s assistant secretary for public affairs, said the change was “an effort to align HUD’s mission with the Secretary’s priorities and that of the Administration.”

Parkland school shooting suspect indicted on 17 counts of murder
Florida school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz was formally charged Wednesday with 17 counts of first-degree murder, which could mean a death sentence if he is convicted. The indictment returned by a grand jury in Fort Lauderdale also charges the 19-year-old with 17 counts of attempted murder for the Valentine’s Day massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in which 17 people died and more than a dozen others were wounded.

Netflix Debuts Trailer for a New Rachel Dolezal Documentary
“Trans-racial” activist Rachel Dolezal is back in the news now that Netfilx has debuted the trailer for her new documentary called The Rachel Divide. Filmmaker Laura Brownson spent two years following Dolezal and her sons. Dolezal made headlines in 2015 as the head of the Spokene, WA NAACP chapter when she was exposed as a white woman falsely claiming to be African-American.
