Omarosa drops dime on Trump ‘s–thole’ comment

The former White House staffer says the president, who is meeting with Nigeria's president, did make the racist remark

Omarosa Manigault is spilling beans over President Trump’s widely reported racially charged comments about developing nations that caused a side-eye even from other conservatives.

Omarosa, who worked in the Trump administration during its early months, took to Twitter to reaffirm that her former boss made the infamous “s–thole countries” comments, reports the New York Daily News.

Trump met with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, and while Buhari declined to comment about the remarks, Omarosa brown-nosed her way into the conversation and tweeted directly to Buhari:

Buhari, on the other hand, took the diplomatic route when asked if he had a conversation with Trump about calling African nations and countries like Haiti names.

“I’m not sure about the validity or whether that allegation against the President was true or not so the best thing for me is to keep quiet,” he said. “Well, I’m very careful about what the press says about people other than myself.”

The Comment Heard Around the Globe

Earlier this year Trump was quoted using damning language in reference to immigrants from Africa, Haiti and other “s–thole countries.”

“Why do we want all these people from ‘s–thole countries’ coming here?” Trump told a bipartisan group of senators in the Oval Office, according to CNN. However, he later denied that account.

The president’s comment was made during a meeting with six senators hoping to come to a compromise on immigration.

Trump met with Buhari this week and said that the Nigerian President understands him.

“You do have some countries that are in very bad shape and very tough places to live in,” he said to reporters. “We didn’t discuss it, because the president knows me, and he knows where I’m coming from and I appreciate that. We did not discuss it.”

Omarosa is spilling all the tea ahead of a tell-all that the former The Apprentice star says is on the way.

“I’m thinking of writing a tell-all sometime. He’s going to come after me with everything he has. Like, I’m going up against a kazillionaire … but I have to tell my truth. I’m tired of being muted… I’ve been defending somebody for so long. Now I’m like, ‘Yo, you are a special kind of f–ked up,’” she said.
