Cardi B and Offset are having a baby girl.

The rapper revealed “It’s a girl,” during an interview with Howard Stern on Wednesday morning, confirming what plenty of fans already suspected.

While Cardi B has recently decided to take some time off from performing during the last months of her pregnancy, rumors of a baby girl swirled when Jimmy Fallon gifted her with a leopard-print outfit shortly after she announced she had a bun in the oven.

Cardi spilled several secrets about her pregnancy, including the fact that she’s seven months along and the baby’s current weight.

“She do weigh three and a half pounds,” she said. “That’s pretty good for seven months, right? Because I was born five pounds.”

She also explained that the baby’s father, Migos frontman, Offset, will be choosing their daughter’s name.

Earlier in the week, Cardi B made quite the statement while attending her first Met Gala and was even spotted chatting up Nicki Minaj at the annual fashion event.

When footage of her security team fighting an overzealous fan after the event surfaced, Cardi B took time to explain her side of the story on social media.

“If you check my tag pics i take a lot of pics with fans .Some people are not fans &sometimes i don’t want no pics and i simply don’t want people too close cause of [my pregnancy],” she wrote. “i don’t know what are people’s intentions sooo i Be careful .Why can’t people respect that?,” she posted.

The fan involved in the incident, Giovanni Arnold, told The Blast that Offset ordered members of their entourage to “go after” him and insists he was pushed down to the ground and beaten and police are reportedly investigating the situation.

Let’s hope the rest of Cardi’s pregnancy is drama-free.
