From reinventing herself by chopping her long locks a few years back to building her fierce fashion empire through the release of her super sexy sportswear line and shoe designs, RiRi has been winning on every front and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Now, she’s not only a bonafide beauty world success thanks to her unbeatable Fenty Beauty line, but she has taken over the lingerie world with the highly-anticipated release of Savage x Fenty.
“We want to make people look good and feel good,” Rihanna said in a press release. “We want you to feel sexy and have fun doing it.”
The Bajan-born beauty has been teasing the line for weeks with a photo-driven countdown on social media that shows the star posing in some of the sexiest sights from her line. While it’s obvious this bombshell would look amazing in her underwear, she’s empowering women of all shapes, sizes, and colors with her size-inclusive offerings that also include “nude” options in several shades.
“As a Black woman, I could not live with myself if I didn’t do that,” she told VOGUE. “But what I didn’t anticipate was the way people would get emotional about finding their complexion on the shelf, that this would be a groundbreaking moment.”
“Groundbreaking” turned out to be a major understatement. Within hours of debuting the lingerie line’s website, customers were forced to wait in a virtual “line” before they could even view the items. Extensive and extended wait times threw some fans into a frenzy and caused them to fear they might miss out on the items they have been eyeing for weeks. Several items were, indeed, sold out within minutes of the launch.

Earlier this week, Rihanna shut down the red carpet at the annual Met Gala in a Pope-inspired ensemble that has everyone praying her killer style would rub off on them.
Her amazing outfit included a papal mitre (a ceremonial head-dress of bishops) and a jeweled strapless mini dress with a matching collared robe perfectly suited for the event’s theme of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
Rihanna is poised to take over the fashion world on all fronts and that’s not the end of her long list of talents.
She’s currently prepping a new album for fan and her knack for turning out hits hasn’t faded one bit, even with all of the other ventures she has undertaken.
