Black Trump supporter defends his sunken-place politics after being mocked at restaurant for MAGA hat

 

A black man deep in the heart of the sunken place defended President Donald Trump after he was criticized for wearing a MAGA hat while at the Cheesecake Factory, reports the Daily Mail.

Eugenior Joseph appeared on Fox & Friends to defend his support for Trump. saying: “I love Donald Trump, he’s just what the country needs. He’s a true American. He really cares for the wellbeing of America.”

The the 22-year-old MAGA, who made headlines when he said he was treated unfairly for wearing a MAGA hat at a restaurant, then added:

“People will say what they want about him, it’s a free country. And I think Donald Trump is everything we ever need in this country.”

The Trump supporter was teased by Cheesecake Factory employees in Miami, Florida on Mother’s Day while having dinner with his white girlfriend and her family.

A witness said one employee pointed to Joseph’s hat and encouraged others to come over to him. They then taunted him and laughed at him.

“Her finger was literally on top of his head, we were all looking at her like “what is happening?”‘ one witness told The Daily Wire.  

“She was pointing at him, calling her other coworkers, telling them to look at this guy wearing a Make America Great Again hat.”

The witness said employees gathered about Joseph’s table and started chanting and demanding that he get kicked out. 

“So then all the employees started standing there, saying things out loud, like, “I’m going to knock his head in so hard his hat’s going to come off,”’ the witness said. 

Joseph said he tried to remove himself but the taunts continued. 

“I got up and went to the restroom, my girlfriend followed me, and as we were walking back, a group of [the employees] came out from the back and they just started clapping and yelling, and just screaming things at me,” Joseph said. 

He said an employee also tried to fight him. 

“He got behind me and another coworker came by and they were staring at each other and he fist bumped him and then he started looking at me, balling his fists, smacking his fists, trying to scare me,” Joseph added.

Joseph’s girlfriend wrote about the ordeal on Facebook:

“All of these threats and aggression were done in front of my 80-year-old grandmother and 8-year-old sister who were terrified. 

“This was supposed to be a simple Mother’s Day celebration, and instead we were threatened and harassed by an entire restaurant of employees,” Izabella Victores wrote.  

Cheesecake Factory issued an apology and fired the employees involved. 

“’No guest should ever feel unwelcome in one of our restaurants and we are taking this matter very seriously. Upon learning of this incident, we immediately apologized to the guests in person. We are conducting an investigation and will take the appropriate corrective action,” the company’s statement reads.
