Trump’s ridiculous DOJ request: Why it’s not even worth sneezing at

Is he kidding? With the barrage of chaos that comes from the White House on a daily basis, the president thinks someone was trying to set him up? Get real

It could be that Donald Trump is trying once again to overstep his legal bounds, but this time former Attorney General Eric Holder is jumping into the fray to say that the Department of Justice and the FBI should disregard his request to investigate the FBI and implied wrongdoing relating to his campaign.

The President believes that the FBI is corrupt and was out on a witch hunt to undermine his Presidential campaign. So, he’s asked the DOJ and FBI to expand an investigation into the matter, reports The Hill. But Holder is saying hold up on that request because it crosses the line.

He tweeted:

Trump claims that an FBI informant spied on his campaign for political purposes, reports the Hill. But so far he has produced no proof to back it up.  He is demanding that the DOJ investigate the matter, even though it is uncommon for a president to request such specific investigations from the DOJ.

Here are five reasons for the FBI and DOJ to totally ignore Trump’s bizarre request.

  1. Liar, liar, pants on fire! This man lives in a sea of lies. He pours haterade on his Unlucky Charms cereal while he watches fake Fox News every morning. And then before the crack of dawn he cracks his knuckles and tweets out a lengthy tirade full of more lies. How can you make up a lie about a so-called informant and then demand the DOJ to acquiesce to your untruthful request? Nopity, nope.
  2. A pocket full of RussiansWait a munite. Trump is worried about informants? Didn’t his son  Donald Trump Jr. admit to Senate investigators that he set up a meeting with a Russian lawyer in June of 2016 because he was interested in getting information about Hillary Clinton to determine her “fitness” to be president? That sounds like some down-low, back-door spying to me. Trump needs to worry about what’s coming to light in his own backyard. Throw the whole corrupt family away.
  3. Lock him up!Remember when Trump kept saying that Hillary Clinton’s unsecured emails and her negligence disqualified her as president? Well, the Washington Post reports that Trump uses an unsecured cellphone at the White House and classified information could have been communicated over the phones and intercepted by foreign governments! How can he say the FBI is spying on him when he’s damn near given the key to terrorist organizations by talking on an unsecured line? The Washington Post said, “If his phones were hacked in any fashion, we have a national security disaster on our hands.” Just wow. Let’s investigate that!
  4. Corruption KingLet’s not forgot that Trump reportedly ordered firing of Russia special counsel Robert Mueller. The New York Times cited four sources speaking under condition of anonymity saying that Trump tried to get rid of Mueller when the news first broke that Mueller would be looking at an obstruction of justice case against him. This is just another attempt to blow smoke in our faces and confuse us. He’s the king of corruption. Stay woke.
  5. At it againHere’s the ultimate: President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey amid FBI criminal investigations into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians in interfering with the 2016 election. With clear comparisons to the Nixon Watergate scandal of the 1970s, this move by the Trump White House suggests the president has something to hide, and Comey was about to reveal it. He STILL is hiding something and that’s why his ridiculous, dictator-ish and dishonest request can never be honored.
