Barack Obama’s shade-throwing former photographer Pete Souza just landed a book deal that will be filled with throwback pics of the 44th president’s two terms laced with the famous captions that clap back at Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, publishers Little, Brown and Company announced that Shade: A Tale of Two Presidents will be released in October, by Souza, the former official White House photographer, reports the Washington Post.

The book will feature Souza’s “unforgettable images of President Obama delivering new power and meaning when framed by tweets, headlines, quotes, and other material from the first 500 days of the Trump administration,” the book’s publisher announced on Wednesday.

“When Pete Souza left the White House in 2017, he didn’t know what it meant to ‘throw shade,’ ” the publisher said. “But he started doing it almost immediately on his personal Instagram account, posting his photographs from the Obama years with captions that vividly define the contrast between the Obama White House and President Trump’s administration.”

Souza soon learned that his shade was well-received and he now has more than 2 million Instagram followers. And the shade continues as Souza blisters Trump in a statement saying:

“During the past year, I have been as distressed as anyone by the lies and hate emanating from the current administration.”

“I began to use my personal Instagram account to throw shade at what was happening in the White House. Since then, I’ve been inspired by the comments I’ve received from many people who have posted on Instagram, sent me emails, or talked to me at my speaking events around the country,” Souza said.

The latest book follows Souza’s 2017 bestseller, “Obama: An Intimate Portrait.”

“Shade” is set for release in October.
