Donald Trump wasted no time tweeting his picture with Kim Kardashian after their legendary prison reform meeting. Kim Kardashian met with Trump to discuss granting clemency to Alice Marie Jones, 62, who has served more than 20 years in prison for a first-time, nonviolent drug offense. But many were not impressed and the jokes came rolling in.
And the family of a Black Florida man who was fatally shot in 2014 by a White sheriff in his home got four dollars in damages. The family of Gregory Vaughn Hill Jr. filed a wrongful death suit after Sheriffs went to Hill’s house due to a loud noise complaint and he ended up shot three times. The jury awarded the family four dollars in damages, one dollar for funeral expenses and one dollar for each of hill’ s children. The jury says the sheriff is only one percent liable for Hill’s death, so the sheriff’s office will only pay four cents.
And Drake says relax about the Black face photo. The rapper posted on Instagram story, explaining that it wasn’t part of a shoot for a clothing line, instead it was during his acting career where he was showing the stereotypes & roadblocks Black actors faced in the business.
