Elba announced the big news on Tuesday and revealed he already signed his first artist, James BKS. The French producer from Cameroon has already worked with heavy hitters like Talib Kweli and Diddy among others. He has also made music for commercials for huge design houses like Yves Saint-Laurent, Armani, and Prada and scored several French films including La Taularde and Le Gang Des Antillais. His father is the legendary Afro-jazz saxophonist Manu Dibango.

“James is a rare find,” Elba told Billboard. “His hip-hop sensibilities transfer to the other music he makes, he’s a nice person to work with and is gonna be a strong artist in the future. It’s a huge move for 7Wallace, a small indie label.”

James’ single “Kwlele” is slated to drop on July 13 and features, Dibango and Allan Kingdom.
