Rapper GloKKnine under fire after saying he doesn’t want any dark-skinned children
Even with the monumental success of movies like Black Panther where dark-skinned black women shined, there are still people like 17-year-old rapper GloKKnine pushing self-hating notions saying that he doesn’t want dark-skinned children and taking offense to his own skin color.

“If I’m f**king with you, I’m black as f**k, right? I’m black as sh*t,” he said. “So I know, if I fuck with a black b**ch, we gon have a black a** baby. I ain’t with that,” GloKKnine said in an interview with DJ Vlad.
The immature rapper shares the sentiments of rapper Kodak Black, a dark-skinned rapper who has said on occasion that he doesn’t like dark-skinned sistas either.
“I ain’t gon’ lie, I know I’m ugly” GloKKnine explained.
“What he say? ‘I’m Already Black, I don’t need no black b**ch,’” he said referring to what Kodak Black once said.
Just wow.
The Orlando,Florida artist, who is dark-skinned himself continued to diss sistas when DJ Vlad pressed him for clarity.

“This is a dark-a** shade. This b**ch … Hell nah. I can’t …I can’t have…,” he continued.
Shameful when you think how rappers have mass influences over their messaging.
When rapper Kodak Black said he doesn’t like “black girls” on Instagram, social media erupted.
“I’m an average dude cause I don’t see myself no better than him, no better than him, you know, or no less than him. So if he could say that he like skinny women…if he prefers skinny woman more than a more chubbier or more heavy set woman, he could say that and nobody won’t get mad at him,” he said. “I just said I don’t like women with my complexion. I like light skin women. I want you to be lighter than me. I love African American women, but I just don’t like my skin complexion.”
He goes on to share this little gem, “My complexion, we too gutta. Light skin women…they more sensitive,” he went on. “Nah, nah, they too tough. Light skin women, we can break ’em down more easy, you know what I’m saying?”
And “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” reality star Amara La Negra, who has become a face for black girl empowerment said sadly that she has fought this type of colorism all her life being a darker skinned Latina.
