Netflix and Beyoncé teaming up is all the news we need today

Although Beyoncé, is currently touring with her husband Jay-Z, sources say she’s also super busy behind-the-scenes, working on her seventh solo album that promises to be more visually appealing than Lemonade and could be a Netflix feature.

Serena Williams’ husband whisking her off to Italy for dinner is the most romantic thing on the internet this week

Sources have told The Sun that Beyonce is exploring a deal with the streaming service and is quietly scouting out exceptional locations that will fit the bill for her upcoming project while in Europe for the On the Run Tour II.

“Her team are now in negotiations with Netflix to premiere the project, which would introduce it to a massive audience. They offered a seven-figure sum for Lemonade but contractual obligations with HBO and Tidal meant it didn’t happen. But they are willing to pay through the roof this time because Beyoncé still has massive pulling power,” a source said.

Some of the production for videos she reportedly is preparing to shoot will be shot in the Roman Colosseum—an exclusive location that only someone of Bey’s caliber could get approval for.

“Beyoncé has been hard at work on her next solo album and it is shaping up well,” one source told the UK publication. “She wants it to be even more ground-breaking and visually impressive than Lemonade, which is why she is scouting out locations which will really wow people.”

Filming at the Roman Coliseum will be just as enjoyable to see as the Carters’ recent video “Apeshit” music video shoot at the Louvre.

But just how did the haute couple get the approval to feature a music video at the multi-million-dollar complex that houses some of the most admired art pieces? Well the Jay-Z and Beyonce of course, have the cashflow, but it was also the fact that they visited the museum quite a few times in the last few years, said a spokesperson for the museum.

So it remains to be seen if they will get the greenlight to film at the Coliseum. We’ll wait!
