Serena Williams’ husband whisking her off to Italy for dinner is the most romantic thing on the internet this week
Despite her recent loss, Serena Williams is a Queen who does Queen things even off the tennis court. So that means when she wants Italian, a local Olive Garden won’t do. So, her husband Reddit co-owner Alexis Ohanian, whisked the star off to Italy to indulge in authentic Italian fare from afar.

“She wanted Italian for dinner, so…” the 35-year-old Reddit co-founder wrote on Instagram.
Williams was chilling next to her cheesin’ husband in an Instagram pic while sipping on a glass of wine in a gondola in the city of Venice.
As if we weren’t jealous enough, Ohanian shared a pic of Williams wandering along the stone streets in the city after dark, with the caption: “Last night was a blur,” he said.

Ohanian is working overtime to lift his wife’s spirits and so is their adorable daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian.
“Today I saw Olympia fall… but she got back up. She fell again almost immediately…. and almost immediately she got back up again. She always had a smile on her face,” the 23-time Grand Slam winner wrote recently on Twitter.
“I learned a lot from Olympia today. Thank you my baby love.”

Williams has been soaking in the luxurious Italy trip and shared a video that showed the hotel where she stayed with a breathtaking view.
“Loving family time in beautiful Italy. What an insane room I stayed in. I got to look at stars from my bed at night!! This week has been a dream!” she captioned the clip, tagging L’Albereta hotel in Erbusco.
