Terry Crews has been accused of cyberstalking by a former friend turned foe who filed a million dollar lawsuit against the actor for allegedly failing to pay him for contracted work.

Darwin Hall,  says he was a social media manager for Crews but is still due more than $1 million in wages and reimbursements from the Brooklyn Nine Nine star for work he did on the website terrycrews.com.

Hall is seeking damages for breach of contract, defamation, cyberstalking, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to reports. Hall claims that Crews enlisted his fans to attack him online and level threats at him after Crews took to social media to slam Hall, according to The Hollywood Reporter..

The lawsuit reads:

“In response to Defendant Crews’ false and defamatory posts, Plaintiff Hall was located, and then contacted by numerous followers of Defendant Crews, who threatened Plaintiff’s life, property, and business and promised to hunt him down for ‘hurting’ Defendant Crews, even publicly asking Defendant Crews if Defendant Crews would pay a ‘bounty’ for Plaintiff Hall. Plaintiff Hall was terrified and feared for his safety as well as that of his family.”

Hall said he began work on Crews’ website back in 1999 before he become famous. Hall worked forSymbolic Web Media. And while he says the firm was initially paid $28,479 for services rendered, that amount accounts for only covered 296 hours of work. Hall states that he completed about 6,000 hours that’s he’s gone unpaid for. Hall said Crews promised $55 an hour as his pay rate.

Hall claims that Crews got outraged when he started working for a LGBT client. Crews, he said, demanded that he stop work on that project.

“The client identifies as LGBT, although the app did not involve the LGBT community,” the lawsuit states.

“Crews found out that Plaintiffs were working on the app and flew into a rage. Defendant Crews told Plaintiffs that in no uncertain terms could Defendants continue to work with Plaintiffs if Plaintiffs worked with anyone that was LGBT on an app for the LGBT community. Plaintiffs told Defendants that the app did not involve the LGBT community, and that because the client had already paid for Plaintiffs to build the app, Plaintiffs were contractually obligated to perform the work.”

Hall said he did agree to stop working for that client because Crews promised that he would reimburse him for lost wages. But he says the actor didn’t honor that agreement.Back in 2017, Crews did take to social media to tweet about a “former friend” who was tryig to shake him down, but he didn’t make mention Hall’s name. Crews said the so-called LGBT site Halls referred to was instead a porn site.Crews also accused the former friend of attempted murder and drug dealing.
