Melania Trump’s team blasts rapper TI for video featuring First Lady stripping in Oval Office and calls for boycott

Melania Trump’s team called for a boycott of rapper T.I. after he released a new video featuring a naked doppelganger of the First Lady stripping in the Oval office.

According to WXIA-TV, Trump’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, tweeted Saturday saying the video was unacceptable.

“How is this acceptable?” Grisham used the hashtags #disgusting and #boycott.

 

It seems Grisham is unaware that asking for a boycott of an artist who has an army of fans in the city that is the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and the stomping grounds of the civil right movement is quite tone deaf.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, is certainly tuned in to Trump hypocrisy and warned the petty President in a tweet: “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye” before sharing the video on Friday.

The clip opens with real footage of Donald Trump walking alone to a helicopter a voice-over questions: “Melania Trump did not go to Mar-a-Lago with the president this weekend, which has a lot of people wondering.”

After the chopper takes off T.I. is seen in the Oval Office and then, a Melania Trump look-alike strolls in, wearing only heels and a green jacket emblazoned with the infamous words “I really don’t care, do u?”

As T.I. lights a cigar, the Melania character drops her jacket, revealing that she is naked. She then begins dancing, climbing on the desk and tugging at T.I.’s tie.


The Internet was ready to clapback at Grisham for trying it and for trying to make Melania the victim.

 

Taking Trump and Kanye West to Task

T.I. is not here for Trump or Kanye West after the rapper met with the President on Thursday and went on a rant that TI called a “new low.”

T.I said he wants to “slap the f**k out of him for it.”

In a lengthy Instagram post he tore into West and wrote: “This shit is next level, futuristic Sambo, Hopping Bob, Stephen off Django ass s**t, Ye! From what I can gather… This is the most repulsive, disgraceful and embarrassing act of desperation and auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen.”

The rapper said he declined to meet at the White House with Trump after West invited him.

“You are a** kissing on a whole new level and I refuse to associate myself with something so vile, weak and inconsiderate to the effect this has on the greater good of all our people!”

T.I. then urged his fans, “Don’t follow this puppet. Because as long as I’ve lived I’ve learned that it benefits a man nothing at all to gain the world, if to do so he must lose his soul. We just saw Mr. West’s Soul on auction. If you listen closely you can hear the tears of our ancestors hit the floor. All I can say is… I’ve reached my limits.”

And T.I. is also rocking the vote by encouraging his fans to head to the polls for the midterm elections.
