Hilary Brooke Mueller — the White woman who blocked D’Arreion Toles from entering his apartment building has reportedly been fired from her job.

Toles posted his encounter with Mueller on his Facebook account and the video received millions of views. In the video, Toles is seen entering his apartment with his own key but Mueller still proceeded to call the police on the tenant.

It’s been reported that she is no longer an employee at Tribeca-STL.

Next week, former president Barack Obama is traveling to Las Vegas to campaign for Democrats running for statewide and congressional offices. Obama will also be at a rally on October 22nd to encourage Nevadans to go out and vote early.

Early voting in Nevada starts Saturday and runs through Nov. 2nd.

And today marks the 50th anniversary of Tommie Smith’s historic Olympic protest.

Smith was an athlete who raised his fist on the podium after winning gold in the 200-meter dash— alongside John Carlos, who won bronze— to protest the abuse of human rights and to recognize the struggle for civil rights in the united states.

An exhibition at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia will commemorate the anniversary of Smith’s protest through February 3rd.
