White woman who falsely accused Black boy of groping her butt and impersonated a cop speaks out ‘I regret that I escalated the situation’
The white woman who cried wolf and lied when she reported that a little Black boy groped her butt has now offered a backhanded apology after backlash on social media, Yahoo reports.
“What I felt was a whoosh, across both cheeks,” Theresa Klein aka “Cornerstore Caroline” told Inside Edition. “I regret that I escalated the situation,” she said. “I shouldn’t have cursed.”
The New York woman demonized a 9-year-old boy when she claimed he “sexually assaulted” her inside a Brooklyn deli. Klein then called 911 accusing the boy of the despicable act while people disputed her foolishness. Surveillance footage posted by Andrew Ramos, a self-described “multi-media journalist in New York City fighting evil,” vindicated the child.
“I want the cops here right now!” the video shows her telling a 911 dispatcher outside a neighborhood market after she accused a child of sexual assault. “That’s right,” she says into the phone, “the son grabbed my a**!”
Onlookers outside of the Brooklyn deli disputed the woman’s claim immediately, according to an earlier article in theGrio.
“Are you seriously calling the police?” another white woman said, irately confronting the caller, who then begins to argue with her “one white girl to another.”
Klein was dubbed #CornerstoreCaroline, as she called the cops. The boy, his mom and a handful of other children are standing around confused at the day’s event. The video, which was posted on Facebook, has since gone viral with now over 4 million views since Wednesday.
The woman made the call from Flatbush neighborhood under the jurisdiction of a New York State senator who proposed a law that penalizes people for making frivolous calls against blacks.

Enough Already
In a case of another one bites the dust a nosey St. Louis woman is out of a job after social media did its due diligence and put her on blast for blocking a Black man from entering his apartment in the building where he lives, reports WHAS11.
The St. Louis woman, who went viral after D’Arreion Toles posted the viral video, has been fired from Tribeca-STL, a luxury apartment company for stopping Toles for entering his loft even after he showed he had the keys.
Shameful.
