LISTEN: Cardi B strips down in cover art for new single and raps about Kulture on “Money”
Listen to her latest track, "Money."
Cardi B just dropped her latest single, “Money.”
First, the rapper teased the cover art for the track and announced the song would drop on Thursday.
She must have had a change of heart and decided not to keep fans waiting, releasing the J. White-produced song two days early on Tuesday.
She shared the surprise with fans on social media, along with some more sexy snapshots.
The new mom stripped down in the single’s cover art featuring Cardi B wearing nothing but gold watches, heels, and a sparkling gold hat, showing off her post-baby body.
In it, she reminds everyone that even though she may have made it big, she’s still all about that schmoney.
“I got bands in the coupe, busting out the roof/I got bands in the coupe, touch me I’ll shoot,” she raps.
Her baby girl, Kulture, was clearly on the forefront of her mind when she recorded the track that references the bundle of joy she shares with Offset more than once.
“I got a baby, I need some money…I need cheese for my egg,” she rhymes. “I was born to flex / Diamonds on my neck / I like boarding jets, I like morning sex / But nothing in this world that I like more than Kulture.”
“Money” is Cardi’s first solo single since she dropped her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, in March.
