Jonathan Lykes and OnRae LaTeal have teamed up with the Black Youth Project 100 to bring joy to the Black community through music. The compilation features 12 liberation chants and four political education messages aimed to encourage listeners to continue resisting oppression and using our joy to fight for survival.
The project includes a variety of sounds from blues, jazz and gospel music, to highlight not only this generation but to pay homage to our ancestors and voices that have come before us. The entire music collection can be found on all major streaming platforms.
