KFC has finally done it. The brand is going all in on chicken and waffles.

For a limited amount of time, the legendary fast food chain will serve up the brunch and soul food staple. If you have been watching football the last two days or checking out Twitter, you have seen a variety of ads to introduce the dish, including one that features Col. Sanders romancing a bottle of Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.

“Our famous extra crispy, savory fried chicken atop a Belgian Liege-style waffle, with the finishing touch of classic Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup, makes for a scrumptious dish I’d put up against versions at upscale restaurants, but we’re offering it at a price just about anyone can afford,” Andrea Zahumensky, KFC’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement, according to the New York Daily News.  “And it can be enjoyed at KFCs across the country for brunch, lunch or dinner.”

It officially hits the menu on Monday. It consists of their extra crispy fried chicken, Belgian waffles and a side of Mrs. Butterworth. It’s available as one breast fillet, a two-piece thigh and drum, or three-piece tenders with one waffle for $5.49 or as a “Big Basket Meal” for $7.99 with two waffles and a choice of two-piece white meat, three-piece dark meat, or four-piece tenders.

Plus, there is also a chicken and waffles sandwich. Similar to KFC’s infamous Double Down – the sandwich that featured two pieces of chicken as “buns” – this one has a waffle bun for $5.99.

Black Twitter, as you’d expect, is having a field day with the news:
