Tomi Lahren: Watching migrant children being tear-gassed ‘was the highlight of my Thanksgiving weekend’

“Bum-rushing the border is a CHOICE and has consequences. Watching the USA FINALLY defend our borders was the HIGHLIGHT of my Thanksgiving weekend,” she tweeted.

Fox News host Tomi Lahren hit a new low when she boasted that watching migrant children being hit with tear gas was “the highlight” of her Thanksgiving weekend.

The conservative pundit made the shocking admission on social media while responding to Alyssa Milano’s strongly worded tweet to Donald Trump, according to Newsweek.

Milano, the actress turned activist, lashed out at the president when he suggested that Mexico would be “smart” to stop migrant caravans before they arrived at the countries’ shared border.

“Would be very SMART if Mexico would stop the Caravans long before they get to our Southern Border, or if originating countries would not let them form (it is a way they get certain people out of their country and dump in U.S. No longer),” Trump tweeted . “Dems created this problem. No crossings!”

Milano tweeted, “You tear-gassed women and children, asswipe! And on Thanksgiving weekend, you piece of shit, asshole, motherf***ing, evil-creature-person!!”

Never one to pass up a chance to insert herself into an argument, that’s when Lahren shared her two cents about the use of tear gas on immigrants who rushed the southern border.

“Bum-rushing the border is a CHOICE and has consequences. Watching the USA FINALLY defend our borders was the HIGHLIGHT of my Thanksgiving weekend,” Lahren tweeted directly to Milano.

An estimated  500 Central American migrants hoping to seek asylum in the U.S attempted to “violently” cross the border, but the Trump administration’s decision to gas those people, many of whom were women and children sparked outrage all over the world, the The Associated Press reported.

Longtime Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera condemned the inhumane treatment, marking the second time in recent history that the treatment of minors has led to discomfort and pushback from both sides of the aisle.

Earlier this year, the White House came under fire for its “zero-tolerance” policy that resulted in thousands of migrant children being separated from their parents at the border and held in cages at detention centers.

One of the few things that Democrats and Republicans have agreed on in 2018 is that kids can not be treated like wild animals, but Lahren, a vocal proponent of Trump and his overzealous immigration policies, didn’t seem to get that memo.
