Police say a Memphis, Tennessee dad allegedly told his son, “Point him out,” before assaulting a student and a woman in his son’s high school gym.

According to WHBQ, last month Michael McMillan was arrested after he attacked two people at the Craigmont High School gym.

A school faculty member told authorities that McMillan barged into the school gym after school hours accompanied by his son. When a female staff member tried to stop him in his tracks, McMillan reportedly pushed her aside. That’s when he asked his son to point out the person who had been messing with him.

After the boy motioned to a student in bleachers, his father reportedly walked up to the minor and punched him in the head twice. When another female staff member tried to stop the attack police say McMillan pushed her off of the bleachers.

It took a group of school employees working together to finally subdue the man so that the frightened student could escape. Following the incident the young man suffered a busted lip and the teacher had bruises and a swollen nose. Both victims have yet to be publicly identified.

Authorities have yet to pinpoint the exact motive that led to the attack, but confirmed that both victims have pressed charges and McMillan was charged with two counts of simple assault.
