Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Peter Thomas spent the night in jail in Miami on a pending warrant for check fraud, Local10 and TMZ are reporting.

Thomas, 58, appeared on the show as the then-husband of real housewife Cynthia Bailey. The couple separated in 2016 and divorced the following year.

Miami-Dade police nabbed Thomas at Miami International Airport on the charge that originated in Louisiana. Thomas is opening a nightclub in Miami Beach. He is being held without bond pending extradition to Louisiana, according to Local10.

Thomas was disembarking from a plane at the time of his arrest, according to TMZ.

Thomas married Bailey on season 3 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

In addition to the Miami Beach club slated to open, Thomas manages a nightclub in Charlotte, N.C.

TheGrio reported in 2017 that singer Ro James claimed Thomas owned him money for performing at the club on New Year’s’ Eve.

“It’s pretty wack that I still haven’t been paid in totality for a New Years Performance @PeterThomasRHOA,” the singer said in the tweet that is no longer available. “I showed mad love to all your guests. It’s damn near April.”

Thomas then tweeted back at James, “Call me.”

As for Bailey, she has moved on from Thomas and is dating Mike Hill, a sportscaster on Fox Sports 1 and co-host of a podcast with Claudia Jordan, Bailey’s former RHOA co-star. Bailey has said she will never marry again but seems to be getting close to Hill.

Bailey said via her Instagram account, @cynthiabailey10, that she and Hill double dated with fellow RHOA star NeNe Leakes and her husband, Gregg Leakes, who is battling colon cancer.

“Impromptu birthday party at the lake for @itsmikehill,” Bailey posted last August. “No makeup & no cameras, just a good time, and lots of love. Thank you @greggleakes for your beautiful speech & helping Mike clean up after. Thanks @neneleakes for always being the life of the party. Sorry I had to put you out in the end. Love you guys.”
