50 cent working on crime drama show, ‘Sex Money Murder’

After major success with his hit show "Power," Curtis Jackson brings another street drama to TV

50 Cent announced via his Instagram that he will be working on a new TV series called Sex Money Murder with Oscar award-winning producer, Nicole Rocklin.


 

Looks like 50 Cent is making another drama-filled show!

The rap mogul on Saturday announced via his Instagram that he is reportedly working on a new TV series called Sex Money Murder with Oscar award-winning producer, Nicole Rocklin.

According to XXL, the show is based on gang leader Peter “Pistol Pete” Rollack and his New York City gang. 50 Cent revealed the news on Instagram saying:

The gang’s origins come from the Bronx’s Soundview section in the late 1980s. Although it was short lived in New York, the Sex Money Murder gang sold narcotics and had violent clashes with rivals. Pete was was charged with seven murders in 2000 and is currently sentenced to life without parole in federal prison.

The series is also reportedly based on author Jonathan Green‘s 2018 book, Sex Money Murder: A Story of Crack, Blood and Betrayal. Green is also an investigative journalist.

Among his many titles as an entrepreneur, 50 Cent has received much success as a television producer. His show, Power has been a hit since making its debut on Starz back in 2014. The show’s sixth season is set to air this summer.

While also working on these two shows, the entrepreneur is working on a third one, this time based in Atlanta. The series focuses on crime organization, Black Mafia Family.

He announced castings for the show earlier this month on his Instagram with the caption:
